Celebrating Family Home
Home is a Holy Place
Home

Home is a Holy Place is about seeing, knowing and responding to God's presence at home with our families, in the ordinary events of our daily lives, in the deep joys and sorrows we experience together and in our relationships with one another, whether we are children, siblings, parents, spouses, friends or neighbours.

Home is a Holy Place is a project that aims to raise greater awareness of God's presence at home, not only among families but awareness also among all those who serve them in any way within our Catholic community.

In 2008 a multimedia resource pack was produced to help raise awareness of Home is a Holy Place in  homes, schools and parishes. The need for this was identified at the Releasing Formidable Energy symposium held in October 2006. Thanks to donors it has been possible to offer a free pack to every parish in England and Wales, which are being distributed through a network of diocesan family ministry contacts. Use the links on the left to find out more.

Why not subscribe to the monthly MFL e-bulletin so that you can stay in touch with news of Home is a Holy Place and related work in support of marriage and family life?
